In the Land of Women

OOOOOOOH!!! I am so looking forward to this one! Not only do I think Adam Brody is just the cutest thing since Jesus, but I am a big Meg Ryan fan. Well, no, I take that back. I am a huge chick flick fan, and therefore a huge Sleepless in Seattle fan, and therefore a huge You've Got Mail fan, and, i guess, therefore a huge Meg Ryan fan? Anyway. In the Land of Women looks great. Judging by the trailer, it appears to be a sort of coming-of-age tale, in terms of both the mid-ish-twenties boy-man, just dumped by his hot forgein lover, the lonely mother he meets while staying with his grandma, whose husband is having an affair, and the daughter of this un-blissful couple, who, by the looks of it, I will presume is either 17 or 18. Adam Brody's character is, as mentioned, staying with his grandmother after beign dumped, where he meets the daughter, and predictably falls in love with her. There also appears to be innuendo between Adam Brody's character and Meg Ryan's, but I think that's just an emotional bond, not a romantic relationship. I will definitely be checking this one out. In theaters April 20, 2007.
